Thanks to YOU, Greater Milwaukee community, for your donations to a fund raiser organized by Greater Milwaukee TamilSangam (GMTS). As of 31-DEC, you helped us raise $29K USD.

Many NGOs were evaluated by a committee comprised of both community & board members.  Three (3) NGOs with FCRA were selected to receive our contributions: Tamil Nadu Foundation (TNF), Udavum Ullangal and Udavum Karangal.

Our funds are being put to use for a great cause.  Links to video clips are shown below and are posted in our GMTS facebook page.

Vairavan uncle from our GMTS community visited and volunteered his services in the camp. Thanks to Mr. Vairavan for being part of the flood relief camp.

We are pleased to inform that Udavum Ullangal did an awesome job at Thiruninravoor and Ponneri.

TNF's medical Camp was held at T. Nagar Housing Board near Kannammapettai on 3rd January 2016. This area was terribly flooded up to first floor during the recent rains. There were more than 2000 people benefited from the camp. Majority of them were Women and children. There were old aged people also benefited out of this camp.  Apart from basic medicines for fever, cold and cough, foot sores etc.. hygiene kit containing dettol, soaps, bleaching powder, mosquito repellent and sanitary napkins were distributed.
